Jordan’s interests in agriculture and food localism are rooted in his upbringing on a farm in southern Saskatchewan. This experience is the source of Jordan’s desire to support producers and food localism as much as possible. He grew up on home-grown food, and especially enjoys it when he sees others get their hands dirty and produce their own food.
For the past four years, Jordan has been working as the Coordinator for the Community Gardening Network of Ottawa at Just Food. Through his work, Jordan has worked on the development of dozens of community gardens, including many accessible gardens with a variety of different partners.
